Bulgartransgaz EAD participated with its own stand at the exhibition "PCI Energy Days" (3rd PCI Energy Days), which took place on 19 and 20 September 2022 in Brussels, Belgium. The Bulgarian Gas Transmission Operator presented the projects of common interest that it is implementing - the expansion of the Chiren Underground Gas Storage facility, the Modernization and rehabilitation of the network and the Bulgaria-Serbia gas interconnection.
The stand was personally visited by the EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson and by the Director General of DG ENER Dite Juul-Jørgensen. They got acquainted with the progress in the implementation of the projects and confirmed their importance for guaranteeing energy security and the opportunities they provide for the diversification of natural gas sources for the region.
