Implementing the European and national legal requirements in line with the good practices of the European gas market and its transparency policy, Bulgartransgaz EAD launched public consultations on the update of Bulgartransgaz EAD 2014 – 2023 Ten Year Network Development Plan. The TYNDP describes Bulgartransgaz EAD activities foreseen to be carried out in the next ten years to guarantee the security of supplies, the readiness of the gas transmission system to meet the expected natural gas supply and demand in the region as well as the diversification of natural gas supply sources and routes.
Within the 24th of April 2014 all stakeholders can send their proposals and comments to the TYNDP to the corporate official electronic address info@bulgartransgaz.bg. Following the review and assessment of their appropriateness and contribution to achieving sustainable development, they will be taken into account in the finalization of the draft. After the finalization, the document will be filed for approval by the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC).
TYNDPs are developed by gas transmission operators on the territory of the European Union in line with article 22 of Directive 2009/73 (EC). Bulgartransgaz EAD developed its TYNDP in accordance with the provisions of article 81d, paragraph 1 of the Energy Act (EA).
