Bulgartransgaz EAD, in its capacity of an owner and operator of Chiren UGS, notifies the interested parties that it has available capacity for injection and storage in October amounting to 257 523,213 MWh or 17 168,214 MWh/day in the period 01.10.2021-15.10.2021 that can be withdrawn from the storage in December and/or November 2021. In case of interest expressed by the users, Bulgartransgaz EAD is ready to extend the injection period from 16 to 20 October inclusive, which will enable injection of additional volumes in the amount of 137,410 MWh or 27,482 MWh/day.

Applications can be submitted by 5:00 p.m. (Sofia local time) on 29 September 2021 at Bulgartransgaz EAD Registry office, by registered mail or courier service to the following address:

Applications received at the above address by 5.00 pm (Sofia local time) on 29 September 2021 shall be considered received in due time.
With regard to the introduced state of emergency on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria to restrict the spread of coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Bulgartransgaz EAD provides an additional possibility to the interested parties to submit their Applications for capacity, signed and scanned, as well as all appendices and required documents in line with the Rules for use of Chiren UGS via e-mail to info@bulgartransgaz.bg. Any application received at the e-mail info@bulgartransgaz.bg by the end of the day (00:00 a.m. local Sofia time) on 29 September 2021 shall be considered received on time.
The procedure of applications submission, the requirements to the potential customers and the principles and methodology for capacity allocation are regulated in the Rules for use of Chiren UGS in force at the time of submitting the applications.
