After the conduct of a natural gas storage allocation procedure in line with the item 5.5 and item 5.6 of the Rules on Access to Chiren UGS, there is rejected allocated capacity that will be declared available storage capacity.

Bulgartransgaz EAD informs all interested parties that as of 3 June 2020 Bulgartransgaz EAD accepts applications for storage for gas year 2020/2021 in line with the procedure provided for in item 5.10 of the Rules on Access to Chiren UGS, which are available HERE

In line with item 5.10 of the Rules the storage capacity in this procedure shall be allocated on the principle "First come, first served" and if more than one application has been received on one and the same working day and the declared capacity would be insufficient to satisfy all applications, the available capacity shall be allocated pro rata to the applications received.

The potential customers should submit an Application for storage capacity to take part in the allocation procedure. The template of the Application is available HERE

Applications can be submitted on every working day as of 3 June 2020 from 8:30 am (local Sofia time) by 5:00 pm (local Sofia time) at Bulgartransgaz EAD Registry Office by registered mail or courier service to:

Any Application arrived at the above address by 5.00 pm on a working day (local Sofia time) shall be considered received in due time.

Having regard to the enforced emergency epidemic situation on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria to restrict the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Bulgartransgaz EAD provides an additional possibility to the interested parties to submit their Applications for capacity for gas year 2020/2021, signed and scanned as well as all annexes and required documents in line with the Rules on Access to Chiren UGS be e-mail to info@bulgartransgaz.bg. Any Application arrived at the above e-mail address info@bulgartransgaz.bg by 5.00 pm (local Sofia time) on a working day shall be considered received in due time.
