Bulgartransgaz EAD informs the potential participants in the open procedure: Procurement of the necessary materials and equipment, investment design – Detailed design phase, construction and commissioning of project: Expansion of the gas transmission infrastructure of Bulgartransgaz EAD parallel to the north (main) gas pipeline to the Bulgarian-Serbian border”, stage: "Linear part" and Reference number: 180-100 of Bulgartransgaz EAD that the actions under the procedure are suspended. The reason for suspension is an appeal filed by ATOMENERGOREMONT AD against Bulgartransgaz EAD Interpretation No BTG 24-01-14-/1/ of 08.02.2019, published in the Buyer Profile, provided by the Contracting authority on issues received by persons wishing to participate in the procedure.
Pursuant to Art. 203, para 2 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA), the complainant has availed himself of the legal option to request imposition of a provisional measure suspension of the procedure. The Commission for Protection of Competition is to come to a decision on the grounds of this request.
In compliance with the provision of Art. 203, para 3 of the PPA, the Contracting authority shall suspend all actions on the course of the procedure until entry into force of a decision rejecting the request for a provisional measure, or decision on the appeal, if the provisional measure is imposed.
Following decision of the competent authority and in case the request for imposition of a provisional measure is rejected, the procedure will be resumed and the deadlines for bids submission will be extended, so as to comply with the requirement of Art. 28, para 5 of the Rules for applying the PPA, the total duration of each of the deadlines expired up to the moment of procedure suspension, together with the newly determined extended deadlines shall not be shorter than the initial deadline set by the Contracting authority.
The Contracting authority assures all potential participants that they will be promptly informed of any follow-up actions.
