We would herewith like to inform you that in connection with the obligations under Regulation (ЕU) 2017/459 establishing a network code on capacity allocation mechanism in gas transmission networks, Bulgartransgaz EAD will carry out a yearly capacity products allocation procedure for the next 5 years on the RBP in line with ENTSOG’s standard auction calendar, namely on 01.07.2019 for firm products, and on 15.07.2019 for interruptible products, at 10.00 am local time (07.00 UTC).

Firm yearly capacity products for the interconnection points and the Transfer point between the NGTN and GTNTT to be offered in the procedures on 01.07.2019 are given in the tables below.

Regarding to offering the annual interruptible products, they will be determined once the firm capacity has been allocated at the annual auction, but before the firm capacity auction of shorter duration has been started under the requirements of Art.32, §9 of Regulation (ЕU) 2017/459. In line with item 9 of the preamble of the Regulation, interruptible capacity is only offered if firm capacity is not available.

* Firm capacity at IP Negru Voda 1/Kardam in BG-RO direction amounting to 46 535 000 kWh/d will be offered on 01.01.2020 as short-term products and as yearly product of Gas Year 2020/2021.

** The available capacity at IP Negru Voda 2,3/Kardam amounting to 11 332 481 kWh/d and Kulata-Sidirokastron respectively 8 456 204 kWh/d will be offered as short-term products in line with the requirements of Article 8, §6 and §7 - 10% of the existing technical capacity shall be set aside for short-term products and if the available capacity is less than the proportion of technical capacity to be set aside, the whole of any available capacity shall be set aside, and shall be offered as short-term product  not earlier than the annual quarterly capacity auction in line with ENTSOG calendar.

Transfer point between NGTN and GTNTT

The firm capacity products as announced by Bulgartransgaz EAD will undergo a bundling procedure in line with article 19, §1 of the Regulation. If bundling of the firm capacity products on the RBP proves impossible and if there are differences between the technical and bundled capacity products, such capacities shall be offered as unbundled capacity products (ensuring capacity at the respective interconnection point only in Bulgartransgaz EAD gas transmission network).

Please note that the capacity of the transfer point is allocated in line with the bundled product principle (the user receives capacity on both sides of the point) regardless that the capacity will be indicated on the RBP as unbundled for technical reasons.

We would like to note that interested parties who are not registered network users of Bulgartransgaz EAD gas transmission network in line with 10а of the Rules for access to the gas transmission and/or gas distribution networks and the gas storage facilities in force as of 27.12.2016, must submit an Application for Access together with the following documents:

- trade register excerpt in the applicant’s country proving applicant’s updated legal status;

- excerpt from the trade register or other competent authority in line with the national legislation, proving that the applicant is not in insolvency proceedings and has not been declared in liquidation or insolvency.
